The Indigo compatible probe MMP8
contains the Vaisala HUMICAP Sensor
180L2, which is optimized for measurements of oil moisture.
The probe is suitable for
demanding moisture measurements in
a variety of oils such as transformer,
hydraulic and lubricating oils. It
also includes a traceable
calibration certificate recommended by CIGRE.
The MMP8 probe
measures oil moisture in the form of
water activity (aw), relative saturation
(% rS) and oil temperature (T). It
also calculates the ppm
concentration for specific oils. This
probe can be used as a standalone
measuring device with Modbus RTU
communication.
On the other hand, it is compatible with the Indigo
measuring devices when
analog outputs, relays or displays
are required. A
factory calibration certificate according to ISO
9001 is included. An
accredited calibration according to ISO
17025 is available upon request. The
MMP8 probe is compatible with the Indigo
transmitters from the series 500 and
Indigo 200 and Insight PC software
(download at
www.vaisala.com/insight).
